you know how here in the states, we have travelzoo and kayak and travelocity for travel deals?

where do people in the UK/europe look to find deals?

i.e. 6 nights in capri $753 from london including flights!

we want to find a good deal out of london, if possible! thanks lovelies.

I used http://ryanair.com/en when I was living in London. It often involved sleeping overnight in Stansted airport to catch a 6 or 7 AM flight, but it was totally worth it. And, judging by the number of people who were also sleeping on their bags with their jackets as blankets, it's totally kosher (unlike the weird night I slept in LaGuardia airport).

I personally try to avoid discount airlines at all costs because of the wide range of complications that usually accompany them (i.e. Delays, inconvenient airport locations, etc.). As for recommendations, try liligo.com . I also really like hotels.com for the guest reviews. Aside from that, kayak still seemed to serve me well while over there. Good luck.

i was JUST going to email you and tell you to ask r because he did all of our travel and i have to emphasize that budget air always set us back AT LEAST five hours. we'd get to the airport early (on a bus ride to an airport 30 miles out of the city) only to find out that our plane wouldn't be leaving for another two or three hours, then take shuttles across the tarmac and sit THERE for another hour or so. personally i am a big fan of train travel. no security, no long waits, and the train station was usually in the middle of the city. plus i love riding the train and watching the beautiful landscape.

sigh.

I completely agree with the others...kayak is great, and also consult skyscanner.net, and expedia.org. Use trip advisor for advice regarding everyting else!

I've taken RyanAir and Easyjet at least 20 times and never had a problem with them. Just used easyjet four times in November. :) I noticed lastminute.uk.net was also a popular option as well. Good luck!

What I always do is rent an apartment, which means more neighborhoody and comfortable for less money! I'll try to send the website I use if I find it in my links...It's great, did Venice on like $200!
