A years worth of hard work.

I know I have been writing a lot about being vegetarian lately. Well, I think I am no longer a vegetarian since last night I ate this:One year has passed since that fateful day I decided to abstain from meat product. I decided it was time to reevaluate my lifestyle choices. I thought "Maybe sometimes I want to eat a really good mexican taco". As soon as I bit into the chicken taco, I was surprised at how not grossed out I was.
The first bite:
Not that I'm going to be a hard core t-bone eater. But maybe I will eat meat every so often, in different cultural situations or when somebody makes a dish for me with meat in it. I hate to be a picky guest.
Please forgive me, vacas y gallinas, for the events that transpired last night. And I promise I will never be careless in my meat consumption, nor shall I ever consider this:

Why did God create animals? Why is the closest relation to us in the farming world a pig and their closest relation is a bear (both omnivores, meaning plant and meat eater) so why should we not be omnivores? Animals exist for 4 basic purposes none more important than the other, Power (ex. horse pulls), Companionship (ex. your cat named prozac), Fiber (ex. leather jacket or boots and any woolen clothing), and lastly Food (such as milk, cheese, and hamburger, sausage, steak, pork chops, bacon, leg of lamb, fish filet, tacos, roast, etc.) oh and ice cream.

i'm wondering how many of those Foor examples would go well together. For example: cheese and hamburger, good. steak and tacos, also good. Bacon and ice cream, delicious. cheese and ice cream? pork chop filet? Cat tacos?

I'm glad you ate meat, because next time you come to Logan you need to eat at the new Papusaria (SP) The chef's are from El Salvador and they have the best carne asada tacos I have ever had (outside of Mexico of course) even though El Salvadorian's hate when you compare them to Mexicans. Anyway, they also have great papusa's, so you have to try it! And great passion fruit drink

Please, you ate tacos... what makes you think you were really eating chicken? It was probably a poor defenseless pigeon... But I think your taco Tuesday Idea is great; however I think this Tuesday we should take you to a real meat-eater carnivorous restaurant. There’s a place in Fairfax (I think) that has a little table top ornament. On one end of the trinket is a green mark and on the other a red mark. Green means go, red means stop. Well they continually bring various meat kabobs to your table until you stop them. About every 5 min. the table is met with chicken, turkey, ham, steak, pork, and other random meet products. Sorry, no dog... But yes! Let’s do this.
