what do you do on the coldest night of january?

you go eat pupusa's and other such foods, of course. we went to el riconcito in columbia heights last night, to begin our search for the best pupusa in dc. pupusas are stuffed with all sorts of goodness - my favorite is cheese and loroco (loroco is a type of flower, i think).

i will keep looking - i have a feeling el riconcito is not the best DC has to offer. and by the way, good conversation with friends in a warm restaurant, eating spicy foods is the BEST way to spend a cold night in january!

To get better pupusas you need to go into Maryland. The place is Dona Azucena it is just north of Langley Park. I've also heard that Dona Azuela in Arlington has good pupusas too!

I grew up eating them so I love them! anyway, thats my two cents on where you can get really good pupusas.

No, to get the best pupusas, you need to go to El Salve =) nothing here even compares. Jay would be proud of this new hunt for better pupusa.

Mmmmm...papusa's are so yummy! They had a little joint in Logan that sold them and Kash and I went there all the time.
